How many application of the ICADE weed killer will have to be applied so the Japanese knotweed can be eradicated? Does this have to be done a couple times a year for a few years? We have an area on one of our sites where JKW is present and our client is looking for treatment options.

Reply - around two, spring and autumn should do it if it is correctly done and the calibration of the applicator is accurate.

Will Icade kill ground elder, Could I use spot application in a bed.

Reply - it should do. The biggest problem is getting the control product to stick to the plants to be killed. Mix some vegetable oil into the spray solution.

Is Icade a persisting or non persisting herbicide

Reply - it will stay in the soil for a few months.
